ENGLISH FOR EDUCATION

This British Council Accredited programme runs from late June to mid-August. It is aimed at learners wishing to develop their English language and communication skills in a real school environment.
The programme's main focus is development of language (grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation) and skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) through class projects and interdisciplinary study.

Each week there is a theme, which learners will study, for example ‘World Cultures’, ‘Entertainment and Leisure’ or ‘Globalisation and Design’. This theme will be the foundation of English classes, as well as classes in Maths, Science, Drama, Creative Arts, and Technology (taught by subject specialists). Learning through a theme reinforces learning, as they learn about the same topic in may different ways. The theme is also linked to the weekly academic excursion.
To monitor and support student development, there are weekly tests and tutorials for all students.

Project English offers one academic excursion per week, and one afternoon of sports (students have a choice of football, badminton, basketball, ice skating, tennis or dance). In addition, the classes use the surrounding area as a resource, and students may do project work in the Paddington/ Hyde Park area.
Summer School Secondary Programme runs at our NEWLY EXTENDED STAR STREET SCHOOL. We are very happy to announce that we have acquired additional classroom and outdoor space at Star Street.

Summer School Secondary Programme runs at:

21 Star Street,
London, W2.

Dates: June/August
Course Fee: £390.00 per week – Minimum enrolment : 2 weeks
