British Sign Language Club

In BSL club students will be introduced to Sign Language and Deaf culture. Sign Language is a visual means of communicating using hand-shapes, gestures and facial expression. BSL has its own grammatical structure and syntax and it is independent from spoken English.

Students will be also introduced to Deaf awareness and Deaf culture which are a set of behaviours, art, literary traditions, history and values shared by communities that are influenced by Deafness and which use sign languages as the main means of communication.

Bowling Club

Bowling Club is open for all ICS students who want to take part in an exciting activity that will develop balance, coordination and core strength while promoting social interaction. Lots of fun and laughs are assured. 

Availability is limited (first come first served basis). Please note that your child must be picked up from the bowling alley at 17:00 o’clock.

Homework Club

At Homework Club students have the opportunity to work on their homework in a supportive, focused environment.

A member of staff will supervise students and give help where possible, though will not be operating as a tutor.

Table Tennis Club

Enjoy one of the most popular sports at ICS while learning all techniques and strategies from a professional table tennis coach.This term you can sign up for an extra training session. The club is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

At Homework Club students have the opportunity to work on their homework in a supportive, focused environment. 

A member of staff will supervise students and give help where possible, though will not be operating as a tutor.

WEDNESDAY`

Graphic Novel and Cartoon Club

Students will get the chance to read age-appropriate graphic novels, think up their own storylines and combine them with artwork and text to create their own cartoons or mini-novels. Anyone is welcome to attend, whether they are writers, artists or keen fans of superheroes.

There is the potential to make links with novels studied as part of the Literature and Language IB curriculum.

Basketball Club

The Basketball Club is open for boys and girls of all ages, from beginners to more experienced players. Basketball skills, strategies and matches will be the focus in every session.

There will also be a training day for the ICS Basketball team.
