MONDAY - Mad Science, Spanish Language, Mandarin Language, and Art Club

Mad Science Club

Students perform scientific experiments in each session. This adds to their understanding of scientific principles on topics such as space, forces, and the human body. Please see their website for more information: http://www.madscience.org

Additional Spanish Language Club

Hola! Improve Spanish language skills in a fun, conversation based environment. Language clubs are open to all non-native speakers of this language.

Art Club

Students will use different materials and techniques which build on creativity, whilst developing fine motor skills. Students will bring home their piece of art each week to share with their family.

TUESDAY - Capoeira, Dance Club, Football Club and Additional French Language Club

Capoeira

Capoeira is a unique and exciting Afro-Brazilian art form that combines elements of dance, martial arts, music and play. Students will enhance their creativity, fitness, discipline, wellbeing and confidence. The programme is run by Jinga Jinga, please see their website for more information:

Dance Club

Football Club: 

As a part of our PE programme, football club will improve football skills, team play, sportsmanship and tactical development. Students will be bussed to Regent’s Park and pick up is from ICS Wyndham Place at 4.30pm.

 

Additional French Language Club

Bonjour! Improve French language skills in a fun, music- based environment run by our music teacher, Eva, who is a fluent French speaker. Language clubs are open to all non-native speakers of this language.

WEDNESDAY - Xen-Do, Street Dance, LEGO Storytelling

Xen-Do Club

Xen-Do is a martial art that develops kickboxing and self-defence techniques. It helps improve students' focus and physical health. The belt system builds students' self-esteem. N.B. There is an additional charge of £50 for a kit (trousers, t-shirt, boots, gloves and bag) for new students joining the club. Parent pick up is at Seymour Leisure Centre at 16:45

Street Dance Club

LEGO Storyteller Club

This new club lets children play with LEGO whilst storytelling. Each week, children will get a theme or a story outline and then build scenes, characters, and objects in order to later, tell their story. It’s a great, fun way of being creative and imaginative, through literacy and design while collaborating and learning with others

THURSDAY - Rock Climbing, Piano, Coding and Robotics and Art Clubs

Rock Climbing Club

Trained instructors at Seymour Leisure Centre develop students' balance and core strength. Students work together to climb new heights. Come on, join in; be a risk-taker!

Parent pick up is at Seymour Leisure Centre at 17:00.

Piano Lessons

Students will receive individual piano lessons from a trained, professional pianist, our music teacher, Eva! Suitable for all levels. Lessons will be offered for 30 minute slots from 3:30 and running until 5:00. Parents must be able to collect their child at the end time for their individual lesson (either 4:00, 4:30 or 5 pm, which will be discussed with you in advance). Coding and Robotics

  • VENUE: STAR STREET (Primary School children will ride the school bus to Star Street. . All students must be picked up at 21 Star Street W2 1QB at 5pm.)

 

 

 

In this fun-filled course, students will learn how to code and build their own games, animations, stories and robots. Over the term and year, students will become confident in creating with technology, not just consuming it. As they experiment with robots and programming, they will learn how to reason systematically, work collaboratively and be more creative by using technology in different ways.

All students must bring their own device, including ICS Chromebooks.
