Young Coders: Video Game Design

If you love playing games on your computer or have been intrigued by it, join us in this exciting course. It's a perfect blend of creativity and computing as you design your own game and code it to bring it to life. Understand what makes a game engaging and how to design and build one. It will give you a solid programming foundation and get your creative juices flowing. All experience levels are welcome. Side fact: the gaming industry is at an all-time high, worth a $140B, more than three times that of the film industry and an estimated audience of 2.6B people. Need I say more.

Primary School children will walk over to Star Street escorted by an ICS staff member. All students must bring their own device, including ICS Chromebooks. All students must be picked up at 21 Star Street W2 1QB at 5 pm. Open to new and experienced students.

Senior Coders Club!

Discover the magic of coding in this fun and engaging beginner's course. We will use Python as our programming language, which is easy to learn, yet very powerful. Many high-tech companies like Google, Facebook and Netflix use Python extensively! This course will lay a strong foundation for your computing journey - to build your own apps, games and websites, to explore robotics or artificial intelligence, simply to better understand the digital world around you or to prepare for that university degree in computer science or software engineering.
