MONDAY - The ICS school Musical, Props for the musical, Eyenews School Newspaper and Homework Club

The ICS Musical

Perform in our exciting musical - sing, dance and act in the show. All abilities and talents welcome!

 

 

Props for the Musical Club

Learn the skills and craft behind the masters that create the set and props for the this year's School Musical.

Homework Club

Work on your homework in a supportive, focused environment. A member of staff supervises students. They give help where possible, though will not operate as a tutor.

 

Eyenews school newspaper

School newspaper club, run by the students for the students. Giving students a chance to share their experiences, document what is going on in and around the school and share their creative writing.
The school newspaper is written on a blog, which is shared with staff, students and parents.

In the past students have written short stories, sports and movie reviews, poems, documented school trips and activity days and interviewed teachers on their fashion!

TUESDAY - Musical, Band for the Musical, Debate Club and Homework Club

Band for the Musical

Be a part of the band for the musical! Your job will be to accompany actors. Demanding but a very enjoyable role! Occasionally, you will have to attend some Mondays (closer to the end of March/April), depending on the schedule of the dress rehearsals.

WEDNESDAY - Football and Homework Club

Football Club

  •  Venue: paddington recreation ground

Football club will provide training for the boys and girls football teams by Mr David and Mr John. The sessions will focus on techniques, game play strategies and matches. Both teams will have their own football pitch to practice on. Games against other schools are being planned and a tournament.

THURSDAY - Little Coders Club and Homework Club

Little Coders Club: Developing Computational Thinking

This computing club is for beginners, where children will learn powerful computing concepts using a fun, visual programming language called Scratch. With Scratch, children can program and share interactive media such as stories, games, and animations with people from all over the world. As children create with Scratch, they learn to think creatively, work collaboratively, and reason systematically. Primary School children will walk over to Star Street escorted by an ICS staff member. All students must bring their own device, including ICS Chromebooks. All students must be picked up at 21 Star Street W2 1QB at 5pm.
